About Help
An important element of a user-friendly application is readily available
online help. Microsoft® Windows® provides functions and messages that when used in conjunction with the
Windows Help application make it easy to implement online help in your application.
This overview discusses elements of the Win32 application programming interface
(API) that support online help. It describes how to use these elements to give
users a means to request help and explains how to use the Windows Help
application to display help.
